2. Is my account
secure and is my privacy protected?
Pacific Data
Designs considers the issues of privacy and security very important. pddetrials is a
password protected system. Other users will not be able to view your information.
Unless you provide others with your account name and password, your pddetrials
account, and its contents, is secure.

3. What are the

4. Which browsers can I use to access pddetrials?
Currently, pddetrials can be viewed
with Internet Explorer 5.5 or better, Netscape 6.0 or better and Firefox 1.0 or better.
5. Which operating systems can I use to access pddetrials?
Pddetrials
on Windows 95,98,NT,XP,2000,2003, Unix-based systems and Apple Macintosh platforms
using one of the supported browsers.
6. What is the suggested PC configuration to run pddetrials?
There is no
required configuration, but faster processors and higher amounts of RAM will enhance
performance. In particular, users with less than 64MB of RAM may notice response
delays.
7. When I sign on
to pddetrials it tells me that my "Session Expired." What's happening?
The problem you are experiencing with "Session Expired"
may involve your cookie setting. In order to access pddetrials,
your cookies must be enabled. To access your cookie settings
in Internet Explorer 5.5 or 6.0: Go to Tools/Internet
Options/Security/Custom Level and check the "Enable cookies" options.
8. How do I hide the toolbars for
Internet Explorer?
For Internet Explorer, simply hit the F11 key. Hitting F11 will hide the
toolbar and expand pddetrials to fill the entire screen.
9. I cannot open .PDF files from within pddetrials.
Several issues exist with the plugin features of Internet Explorer and Adobe Acrobat. To remedy this,
ensure that you are using the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Reader.
At this time Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.1 and Adobe Acrobat version 5.0.5 are both functional. It is
imperative that users with the full version of Adobe Acrobat upgrade to 5.0.5, upgrading just the free version
of Adobe Acrobat Reader will not work if both applications exist on the same computer.
